Where it Starts
The Competition Library stores reusable competition class setups that you can include in any event you create.
In the left menu, you'll see the Class Library, Judging Factors and Scoring Standards menu items.
The Class Library area lets you create an unlimited number of competition classes. The Judging Factors library area lets you create reusable judging factors that can be assigned to any class. The Scoring Standards area lets you manage the standard labels (like "Score" or "Execution" or "Precision" -- whatever you want). For best practices around judging factors, review the judging factors article or the nuances article.
The screen below shows the Class Library with a sample class, BEST BURGER. The yellow box illustrates how this event host has weighted the various judging factors they assigned to this class.
There are other elements of the class you can modify. A more in-depth dive into classes is here. For now, just know that you need at least ONE class in order to host a competition. To assign one or more classes to an event, use the CLASS ASSIGNMENTS menu item on the left after you have chosen the event you wish to work on from the EVENT LIST.
