Beginning in February 2026, we will offer a new library of penalties and disqualification criteria. It will operate like the other libraries in the system.
Create. Assign. Use.
In the Penalties & Disqualifications library, you will be able to create one or more penalties or disqualifications. Each will appear in its own tile and be available for assignment to any competition class. This gives the judge a way to quickly assign specific penalties or disqualify the contestant based on established criteria.
Penalties
Penalties can either be fixed-point or discretionary-point in nature. A fixed-point penalty will permit the judge to either apply or not apply the penalty. The event admin determines the value of the penalty. A discretionary-point penalty permits the judge to enter a number which falls within a point range assigned by the event host.
Disqualifications
You can create a library of disqualifying criteria. Judges can select one or more for a contestant so you have a record of why the contestant was disqualified.
Judging Display
On the mobile scoring screen, if your event has any penalties or disqualification criteria assigned to any class, that class will display the penalty and disqualification controls as shown:
